PIPELINE INTEGRITY DOCUMENTS
For clients interested in investing in the longevity of pipeline integrity documents, data record keeping, McDonald OilField OperationS offers a comprehensive Site Documentation package. Prior to any tracking activities, our field technicians can perform Site Documentation utilizing an AGM Survey Database to generate reports that can meet current client applications and easily reworked for future company needs. Each customer and pipeline is given its own database. Then, within that database, each AGM location is documented with specific information relative to that location. This would include the AGM station number, AGM reach description, AGM site sketch (Visio), site photo, GPS Coordinates of the location, the depth of cover and any additional data that would need to be known by the tracking crew or client. Land owner contact information, special PPE requirements, access requirements, special vehicle instructions, location instructions or cell phone coverage would be considered additional data documented by the Site Documentation crew.
A track file and tracking sheet, as well as, all the Site Documentation information is compiled and put into a hard back binder with a CD to be provided to the client for future reference. After the ILI tool run has been completed, the tool vendor can provide run validation dig sheets to the client. With this information, McDonald OilField OperationS can accurately chain in dig locations. Using an electronic line locator to ensure pin point pipeline location and measuring from the established AGM point, the field technicians stake the upstream weld, downstream weld and anomaly so that digs to verify the tools accuracy and/or repairs can be made. Photos, GPS point, and driving directions to the location will be presented in spreadsheet form and forwarded to the excavation contractor to allow for successful one calls. After one calls, McDonald OilField OperationS regularly oversees the digging activities and can even complete the direct assessment of the anomaly. All dig site information collected by McDonald OilField OperationS can be added into the database and provided back to the client for their permanent pipeline and GIS applications.
